Getting a Good Builder in Leeds
Anyone looking for a recommended builder in Leeds ? Well I have found a great place online that will find them for you ! BigBuildersBum.com – what a name for a website !
Its a site that tradesmen UK wide sign up to listing their qualifications and experience.
People like me in search of a tradesman can post a job on there, the website then alerts all the tradesman in my area that are relevant to the work. Its a great idea as I can go back to the site and post a review on that tradesman once job has been done for other people to read !
The site itself is incredibly easy to use, which did help take the sting out of the reason I am in search of a reliable tradesman. I had no idea how much damage a football could do to a partition wall. My 12 year old is now grounded, I would ground his 3 mates that brought the football into my kitchen too if I had the chance !
Anyway, I found Big Builders Bum on google, it seems very popular. There are loads of help tips and it’s monitored constantly. Their logo is absolutely fabulous – Billy Builder ! A cartoon character dressed as a tradesman with a great big smile.
I just posted the job there yesterday and I have already had responses from tradesmen I didn’t even know existed and by the look of their profiles they are professional companies complete with liability insurance. I responded asking them to come round this afternoon, individually of course ! So with any luck I can get someone out to fix the great big dent in my kitchen wall as soon as possible.
The private members area of the site where you receive the initial correspondence from the tradesman is beautifully done, so simple to use. I have to admit I had to email their support this morning as stupidly I forgot my password but they got back to me within minutes. Not with one of those auto responder emails but a personal very friendly reply with my password.
Needless to say this site has been bookmarked, so refreshing to find a website that gives that personal touch and provides an outstanding service.
Its free to post a job and you can post as many as you like. The plumbers or tradesmen then send you quotes through a private internal emailing system so no need to give out my email address to all in sundry. I then read the reviews on the tradesmen’s profile pages, converse with then through the site and choose the one I want to employ. As far as I can tell there are a good few plumbers listed on there for London so I am looking forward to receiving very competitive quotes.
